A little bit of MARDI GRAS in my life!

This mardi gras was completey different from mine in the past. I am used to getting an entire week off for the holiday, in comparrison to the two days we had off at USM. Even though I didnt get to spend as much time in New Orleans, I did have another memorable Mardi Gras. I stayed in a hotel with my sister; Melinda, Kasey her roomate, and Carlie their nextdoor neighbor. The first night we went to enduymion, it was UGHHMAZING. then we met up with a good amount of my friends. One of my est friends from home came and visited me. It made me smile. so we all went out downtown
which probably was the worst idea...ever.
bourban street on mardi gras is not the best place to be. but we still had fun.
Random brawls, little 2 year olds walking alone at 3 in the morning with no parents in sight. That irritated us a little bit. so we woke up and were lazy the whole rest of the time. and just laughed off all the stupid things that happened that night.

b. how ghetto our hotel was. haha

SOUTHERN MISS 

we decided we were all going to meet up with the southern miss people for bacchus.
so our hotel is on canal, and we have to go to st. charles, and the parade is already going. we WALKED all the way uptown, but didnt mind it at all. we were prepared with good comfy shoes
we witnessed a stabbing which wasnt really that cool.
it was this gang of boys and all the sudden they were scattered like ants, and we looked behind us and a boy was lying on the ground not moving at all.
we were all shaken up, but still managed to have a great time.
we met up with everyone and enjoying watching hulk hogan try to throw beads.
right from where we were standing cannons resturaunt was behind us.
so we had to watch the game also.
the last few minutes were intense, but well worth the watch.
of course the win wasa surprise but we enjoyed the shots due to the result.
